The Exhibitions Industry Collective Partners With CNTV to Launch Workforce Development Video Series
The Exhibitions Industry Collective (EIC) has partnered with CNTV to produce a new Workforce Development Video Series highlighting the diverse career opportunities in the exhibitions and events industry.
The initiative is a collaborative effort by the Exhibitions & Conferences Alliance (ECA), Experiential Designers + Producers Association (EDPA), Exhibition Services & Contractors Association (ESCA), International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), the International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM) and the Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO) — all members of the Exhibitions Industry Collective.
The goal is to showcase the human side of the industry to inspire students and professionals to consider careers in exhibitions and events.
“At EDPA, we believe the future of our industry depends on the strength of our people. Workforce development isn’t just a priority—it’s a necessity” said Tara Ericson, EDPA President. “This video series is an opportunity to show the next generation what makes this industry so unique: the people, the creativity, and the ability to bring brands and experiences to life. By telling these stories, we’re not just raising awareness—we’re helping build the next generation of talent.”
Each video will feature industry professionals, behind-the-scenes footage from show floors, and social media clips. Distribution is planned across digital platforms, and social media to reach students, educators, and young professionals. This video series is a part of an overall workforce development initiative that includes a joint job-board, presentations to schools and colleges, and exhibiting at career focused events.
