Ion Exhibits Names Marc Santos President
Ion Exhibits, a Chicago-area builder of custom and rental trade show exhibits, has named Marc Santos its new President. Santos joined the company on October 12, 2026. Kevin Fett continues as Chairman, CEO, and owner.
Santos brings more than 20 years of business development and sales leadership to Ion. He began his career at Nielsen as a new business representative in 2004, earning five promotions on his way to Vice President of North America. He founded and grew the company’s small and midsize business unit, increasing annual sales from $3 million to $80 million. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Data Solutions at ECRM.
Santos also understands trade show exhibiting from the client’s perspective. At Nielsen, he helped establish exhibit design criteria, made final exhibit decisions, managed show budgets, and measured return on investment. That experience gives him a firsthand understanding of what exhibitors need from a partner.

There’s a lot that’s great about Ion already, and he’ll build on it. As President, Santos will lead Ion’s growth strategy in partnership with Fett and the management team. His focus will include developing vendor and strategic partnerships, strengthening client and industry relationships, and overseeing day-to-day operations across all departments.
