Brumark an Exploring, Inc. Company Unveils Innovative Sustainability Initiative to Combat Landfill Waste

Brumark, a leading provider of trade show and event flooring solutions, is thrilled to introduce a groundbreaking sustainability initiative aimed at tackling the issue of carpet waste in landfills. Through an exclusive partnership, Brumark has forged a new path forward by converting its carpets into alternative fuels, thereby reducing waste while creating eco-friendly alternatives to traditional fuels such as coal.

“Sustainability is a key goal for all of Exploring companies as we plan for the future,” said Matt Kelly, President of Exploring, Inc. “The challenge of keeping carpet out of landfills is a problem that has gone unsolved for many years. Thanks to the dedication of James Zacharias we have a viable solution not only for carpet but all products not containing PVC produced by all Exploring Companies.”

Key benefits of Brumark's sustainability initiative include:

Waste Reduction: By diverting carpets from landfills and converting them into fuel, Brumark is significantly reducing the environmental footprint associated with carpet disposal.

Eco-Friendly Fuel Alternative: Alternative fuels serve as a renewable and environmentally friendly fuel source, offering a sustainable alternative to coal and other traditional fuels.

Carbon Mitigation: The utilization of alternative fuels helps mitigate carbon emissions, contributing to efforts to combat climate change and promote a cleaner, greener future.

"Our new sustainability initiative represents a bold commitment to environmental stewardship and innovation," said James Zacharias, Division President at Brumark.  “We are proud to pioneer a solution that not only diverts carpet waste from landfills but also contributes to the creation of sustainable fuel alternatives."

Brumark is committed to driving positive change and fostering a culture of sustainability within the trade show industry. Through innovative partnerships and initiatives like the conversion of carpets into alternative fuels, Brumark is leading the way towards a more sustainable future for generations to come.

This program will go live July 1st 2024.
