High-Velocity Selling in Today’s Marketplace
with Marc Wayshak

In today’s technology-saturated world, information is readily available. The dynamic rate of change in business has changed everything for prospects—not to mention for the salespeople who hope to win their business. This new environment creates tremendous opportunity for those with the right strategy to dramatically increase sales.

A EDPA ACCESS past speaker, Marc shares in this data-driven and science-based program, how winning the business of well-informed prospects requires a distinct strategy, a repeatable process and a clear plan to execute with commitment and passion. If salespeople are not selling at a high velocity today, they are moving backwards.

About the Speaker:
Marc Wayshak is the best-selling author of three books on sales and leadership, Game Plan Selling, Breaking All Barriers, and, his latest, The High-Velocity Sales Organization. Out of frustration from a lack of any real data-driven or science-based sales approaches in the marketplace, Marc developed the Game Plan Selling System, which utilizes the best available data and science to help organizations close more sales. He is a regular online contributor for Inc, Fast Company, Forbes, Entrepreneur Magazine, Huffington Post Business and Blog, and he holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and a BA from Harvard University.

Here's Marc’s 90 second video outlining what he’ll be covering in his HIGH VELOCITY SALES presentation for EDPA ENGAGE on June 21 in Chicago.

Designing Meaningful Experiences and the Evolution of Experiential Marketing
with Ben Roth

After a hugely successful keynote presentation (which garnered him a standing ovation) at EDPA ACCESS 2017 in San Diego last year, Ben Roth brings his keen intellect and casual speaking style to Chicago for EDPA’s Engage conference this summer. It’s time for our industry to change from a supply/service-centered model to a strategic consultancy capitalizing on experiential engagement solutions to enlist deeper client engagement.

Ben will help us explore how we can better transform our hard-won experience and to employ our collective skills to yield new ways to engage and drive energies on behalf of our clients. Our industry needs to move closer to the origin of our clients’ business challenges, to transition from designing things to designing creative business experiences that encompass deep, meaningful, and memorable brand experiences. Learn how to become a “transformational catalyst” with three steps to upping the experiential game within your company.

About the Speaker:
Designer, Creative Director and Marketing Strategist, Ben Roth, has led teams, projects and agencies in nearly all capacities throughout his more than 20-year career. From his internship with IBM back in 1992 through his role as Chief Creative Officer at MKTG, Ben has been a champion for an intelligence-led, human-first approach to strategic marketing. His work has garnered numerous industry and special awards for brands like Gatorade, Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, NBC and The Home Depot. His groundbreaking work for IBM was published in 2013 by The Columbia University Press, in a book written by the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, called “Solving Problems with Design Thinking.” And, he’s a self-proclaimed “disciple of experiences and experimentation.”
