EDPA Midwest Chapter Proudly Presents this first event of 2012 on Thursday, Feb. 16:
“Growing Your Business Through Social Media”

Social Media is one of the most powerful, and least understood, marketing tools available to the trade show and event marketing idustry. Everybody utilizes Social Media, whether on a personal or professional basis. As a relatively recent medium, exhibit designers and builders cannot avoid this outlet as a means to gain exposure and access to current or prospective clients.
The EDPA Midwest Chapter is dedicated to helping participating companies grow their businesses through education and access to experts. Since Social Media is improving and increasing access to business resources, the topic is relevant as we adapt to current and future business challenges.
Join the Midwest Chapter as a panel of experts address the pros and cons of this powerful media outlet. The panel includes industry professionals: Mark Fournier, Director of Marketing, Brumark and Nicole Genarella, VP of marketing, 3D Exhibit. Free Parking, Cash Bar, Dinner and Presentation.

2012 Meeting Recap

“Growing Your Business Through Social Media” Meeting Recap
Last month, the EDPA Midwest Chapter produced an exciting event on Growing Your Business Through Social Media. The statistics on social media are absolutely staggering and the impact on our businesses, both present and future, cannot be ignored.

Two Social Media experts, Mark Fornier and Chris Starks, provided powerful arguments and strategies on the integration of Social Media into our current marketing programs. Mark is the Director of Marketing at BruMark Flooring and has an extensive agency background. He is using Social Media in conjunction with traditional avenues of marketing to grow BruMark’s revenues and continue building the company’s brand. Chris Stark, is the founder of iSocial Media. Chris and his team develop advanced marketing programs using Social Media as the primary driver of business to its clients.

The event was moderated by Dan Greene, who posed questions ranging from basic knowledge of Social Media to specific marketing applications for companies in the trade show industry. Attendee participation was high and the event exceeded expectations.
