Munis Oomatia, MG Design Wins Designer of the Year Award

On November 29 at the EDPA President’s Gala and Awards Dinner, Munis Oomatia of MG Design was awarded the fifth annual EDPA Designer of the Year Award.
Munis demonstrates his passion in creating environments that engage the visitor and solve a client’s design problem in a creative way by understanding his client’s key objectives and determining ways to consistently exceed them. He has a deep thirst for new applications; materials and creative solutions and how they can be implemented in exhibit design.
He studied Architecture at the Rizvi College of Architecture in Mumbai, India before he came to the United States. He has a global design background that few designers have on their resume. He shares the ideas and concepts that he’s seen overseas, in architecture and in design trends with his design team in order to ignite ideas and inspire his design studio.
In its fifth year, the Designer of the Year Award recognizes not only an innovative exhibit designer, but someone who is passionate about design, enhances professional standards, commits personal time to help others grow, is viewed as a leader, championed causes and/or programs and supports EDPA and its growth of exhibit design.
