Southeast Chapter Wins the EDPA Chapter of the Year Award

On November 29 at the EDPA President’s Gala and Awards Dinner, EDPA awarded its first annual Chapter of the Year Award to the Southeast Chapter.

The Southeast Chapter demonstrated their outstanding accomplishments of EDPA’s local chapter programs. The award is based on eight categories including membership, promotions, and programs.

Robyn Gillespie of Bam Group and Nicole Klein of Exhibit Expressions were there to accept the award on behalf of their chapter.

In their application for consideration for this award, the Southeast chapter explained why their chapter should be the EDPA Chapter of the year. As a result they say that they “strive to evolve the Chapter into the true “voice of the local industry” and heart of the exhibit and event family. Our commitment to innovative, relevant and fresh programming receives excellent ratings and outstanding support. Our leadership and members take their role as the “unofficial host” of the RSMGC very seriously and continue to commit hundreds of volunteer hours to the event’s success. Several of our chapter leaders also participate on national committees and the RSMGC planning team.”

EDPA plans to hold the Chapter of the Year Award going forward, and encourages all chapters to participate in the award submissions.
