Brumark Announces EDPA University Affiliation Program Scholarship

Stacy Barnes and StudentsBrumark is set to give back at Exhibitor 2011 by sponsoring two scholarships to students studying design careers in the exhibit industry. They will also showcase a dynamic new exhibit designed by graduate student Leslie Ann Chiu of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.

As part of its Exhibitor promotion, Brumark will award two $500 scholarships to students pursuing design careers in the exhibit industry at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and Bemidji State University. FIT is recognized as the only school with a graduate program specific to Exhibit Design while Bemidji’s four year degree in Exhibit Design is a leading undergraduate program in the United States. The scholarships will be given through the EDPA Foundation, in the registered company’s name participating in the promotion, sponsored by Brumark.

In addition to the scholarships, Brumark will showcase a new exhibit designed by a graduate student of FIT. With a great position at Booth #1125, the company hopes to visually show attendees and industry peers the inclusive use of complementary materials, starting from the floor, that make up an impactful booth.

“There is such great talent coming out of FIT and Bemidji. When I saw Leslie’s design I was impressed by the dimensions, the flexibility and the cutting-edge innovation with the ability to use various materials to make this a great exhibit for us,” says Brumark President, Dave Walens. “A great thank you goes to Fabric Images for assisting us in the development of the structure to bring it to life and to Display Supply & Lighting for the great lighting options to take the look and feel of the booth to the next level.”
